Why does my screen stay on while the app is open?
Aquarium Zen: Retro is designed to be used as a continuous display or screensaver. The app prevents your screen from turning off automatically. Simply close the app to restore normal screen lock behavior.
Does the app use the internet?
No. Aquarium Zen: Retro works entirely offline. It never connects to the internet.
Does the app collect my data?
No. Aquarium Zen: Retro collects zero personal data. Your settings are stored locally on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I add the widget?
Long-press your home screen, tap the "+" button in the top corner, search for "Aquarium Zen," and choose the Large or Rectangular widget size.
How does the focus timer work?
Enable it in Settings, choose a duration (5 to 60 minutes), then tap "Start Focus Timer." A progress ring appears at the top of the screen. When time is up, you'll hear a sound alert and see a bubble explosion. Tap anywhere to dismiss.
My settings reset after reinstalling. Why?
Settings are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all settings. This is intentional. No data is backed up to external servers.
What devices are supported?
Aquarium Zen: Retro requires an iPhone or iPad running iOS 17.0 or later.
