Why does my screen stay on while the app is open?
Aquarium Zen: Retro keeps the screen on while the focus timer is active. Simply close the app to restore normal screen lock behavior.
Does the app use the internet?
No. Aquarium Zen: Retro works entirely offline. It never connects to the internet.
Does the app collect my data?
No. Aquarium Zen: Retro collects zero personal data. Your settings are stored locally on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How does the focus timer work?
Choose a duration, then start the timer. A progress ring appears on screen while hand-drawn fish swim in the background. When time is up, you'll hear a sound alert. Tap anywhere to dismiss.
My settings reset after reinstalling. Why?
Settings are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all settings. This is intentional. No data is backed up to external servers.
What devices are supported?
Aquarium Zen: Retro requires an iPhone or iPad running iOS 17.0 or later.
